Very graceful native palm growing up to 25 meters tall. Beautiful smooth trunk with spaced rings up to 30cm in diameter. Leaves grow up to 2 m long and are bright green with pale stalks. Best suited to a sheltered position, protected from strong winds. Grows best in full sun to part shade, and loves water. Handles soggy soil. The Bangalow palm is a fast grower and can grow up to 1m a year.
